K12 Online Conference

This is an annual conference that takes place in October. The theme of the K12 Online Conference 2008 is Amplifing Possibilities. Here is a link to 2008 conference schedule. The conference started on October 13th with a preconference keynote session.

The format is much easier this year as the presentations can be viewed using a software called dot sub. If you can't find a session that interest you in the 2008 presentation lineup check the schedule for the 2007 conference. Just a word of warning -- some of the sessions may take a long time to download.

Ed Tech Talk

ED Tech Talk is another online learning community. A number of Webcasts are held each week and the mp3 are archived so you can download them to a mp3 player and listen at your convenience.

SMARTBoard Presentation - Assignment #3

Today you will present a SMART Board activity as required for Assignment #3. See Discovery - Week 8 for details.

SMARTBoard - Individual Hands-on

On February 24th you will the opportuntity to practice the SMART Board activity that you will share with the class on March 3rd.

Additional practice times may be available -- see professor regarding day/time.

You are only required to come during your scheduled time. Be on time and be ready to do your SMART Board activity as individual time is limited.

SMARTBoard - Group Hands-on

See Discovery - Week 5 for details regarding signing up for your SMARTBoard - Small Group session and how to prepare for this session.

We will not meet as a class on Tuesday, February 10th but you will need to come to class at the time that you and your partner signed up to "play" with the SMARTBoard for 15 minutes.

You do not need to be in class during the other group sessions, but you are welcome to stay and watch if you would like.
